Usfl Chicago Blitz Portable Charcoal Barbecue Grill in Crystal Lake, IL

For sale is a rare and very hard to find USFL CHICAGO BLITZ PORTABLE CHARCOAL BARBECUE GRILL. It is in unused condition. I am asking $125 but I will entertain reasonable offers. The surfaces show some scratches and a several light dings from handling from moving it around in storage and on display. The interior components have never been used and the grill has never been fired-up. There is some light pitting of some of the metal inside the grill ( see photo of the grill's interior ). The grill measures about 14-1/4" wide by about 16-1/2" deep by about 10" tall when the legs are folded out for use and the grill is standing ready for use. It is made of metal and weighs at least 10 lbs. When folded it looks like a big beer can. The grill has two vents one on either side with rotating covers to adjust air flow to the coals. It comes with its original unused grills inside and a BBQ food ideas pamphlet. This item was an official USFL Chicago Blitz souvenir. It is from 1983 or 1984. This item is extremely rare due to limited distribution. I have owned this grill since 1984. I loved the Blitz and I was going to use it at a tail gate the next year. But The USFL did not survive another year. So it went unused. I have lived in the Chicago area all of my life and I have been collecting and selling since 1979. I have travelled extensively throughout the chicago and the midwest area at shows, markets, shops, malls on-line, etc. Since buying this one from a Blitz souvenir vender I have never seen another offered for sale, let alone have I ever seen another one anywhere. I am sure that other USFL teams were also made but I have never seen one of those before either. This truly is a very difficult USFL collectible to find. This really is a must have collectible for the serious Blitz collector. I need to make room and I am now selling it. I can hand deliver it anywhere in the Chicago area for a minimum of $25 or more depending on location. Or, this item can be picked-up in Crystal lake at no extra cost for shipping.
